Brother Albert Henderson was born on June 17, 1936 in Albany, Georgia to the late Jay and Ellen Henderson. He moved to Lake Placid, Florida in his adult age, and joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where Rev. Moses Wilson serves as Pastor. Mr. Henderson could be seen around town serving food to the local residents during the Holiday Season. His hobbies included spending time with his family and farm work, his favorite pastime. On Saturday June 5, 2021, in the quietness of his home, Brother Albert Henderson entered into his eternal rest, after hearing his Master calling, saying, "Come unto Me, all ye that labor and heavy laden and I will give you rest." He leaves to mourn his devoted wife, Evangelist Eddie Mae Henderson, three sisters: Helen Hall, Cornelia Armstrong, and Jennette Henderson, five step children: Pastor John G. Hooks (Denise), Melinda Battle-Hinson, Eugenia Battle-Moorehead, Bernard Battle (Georgetta), Maria Gilbert, a host of grand and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and his beloved friend,Mr. Tom Daniel. Brother Henderson will always be remembered for his faithfulness to God, and his love for family and community. Funeral services to celebrate Brother Albert Henderson's life will be held 12 Noon, Sunday, June 13, 2021 at New Life Assembly Church. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service time.
