Agnes T. Davis, 86 of Lake Placid, went to be with her Lord Monday morning, November 16, 2015, at Good Shepherd Hospice, Sebring. Mrs. Davis was born June 15, 1929 in Oswego, New York, to parents, Lucian and Julia (Pittsley) Sawyer and had been a resident of Lake Placid since 1985 coming from Sauquoit, NY. She was a homemaker and Catholic by faith. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Robert J. Davis, and is survived by her loving family, daughter, Diane Davis; son, Howard Davis (Levada); grandchildren, Derek, Alexandria, Michael, and Jessica; great grandchildren, Layla, Balboa, Amariah, Jayden, Sage, Savannah, Aidan, Ariana and Hunter; sisters, Barbara Price of TN, and Shirley Bogart of NY; and numerous nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Steve. A gathering for family and friends to celebrate Agnes' life will be Friday, November 20, 2015 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home, 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid.
